About Vishwakarma Engineering Works
Vishwakarma Engineering Works is an engineering unit based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Our work is centred on drill machine spare parts — the replacement components that keep pillar drill machines and industrial drilling machines running in workshops, fabrication units and maintenance departments.
What we manufacture
Our catalogue follows the structure of the machine itself. Power transmission parts such as the main gear, back gear, pulley gear, motor pulley and pinion handle the drive. Spindle and feed components including the main spindle, ram, spindle nut and depth gauge govern drilling accuracy. Table and column parts — square table, pillar bracket, table bracket and the rack gear assembly — support and position the workpiece. Alongside these we make tapping components and supporting items such as springs, housings, sleeves, plates, studs and knobs.
Materials, sizes and quality
Different components call for different materials, and drill machines of different capacities need parts in different dimensions. Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all list, we manufacture to the size a customer's machine actually needs. For replacement work the priority is a correct fit with the parts already in the assembly, because a component that is close but not correct wears both itself and everything it runs against.
Custom manufacturing
A large share of enquiries are for parts that are no longer available from the original machine supplier. In those cases we work from a physical sample, a dimensioned drawing, photographs or measurements provided by the customer. If you have an older or modified drill machine, this is usually the most practical route.

Sending a photograph of the existing part along with the machine size makes it far easier for us to confirm the right component quickly.
